Southside Baptist Church is a local New Testament Church located in Salem, Virginia, and is distinctly independent and autonomous. The membership is solely comprised of born again, baptized believers who actively engage in fulfilling the Great Commission as presented in Mathew 28:19,20. We believe by conviction that the Word of God is the Christian’s sole authority for their faith and practice. It is also our conviction that God’s Word is inspired, infallible, inerrant, and perfectly preserved. We also hold the conviction that the Word of God has been translated without error into the English language and that the Authorized Text exists in the Authorized King James Bible.
